The Cashroom Audit Clerk is responsible for efficiently and accurately processing cash and cash equivalents, verifying daily cash amounts, and preparing bank drop transactions. Primary Responsibilities: * Creating, reconciling and counting cash, floats, coupons, debit and credit cards, and inputting information into the treasury system. * Witnessing, recording and verifying the amounts of money, tickets and armbands and various stock issued and returned each day and verify daily cash drops. * Generating required daily and weekly reports and communicates and documents any discrepancies to Supervisors. * Operating, monitoring, and assisting staff with cash handling machines and other equipment as necessary. * Will be required to receive shipments of inventory and counting/verifying inventory. * Counting and correcting previous day stock and coupon reports. * Assisting in the preparation and analyzing of reports. * Assisting with training new staff on proper cash room policies and procedures. * Performing various other cash-related clerical duties and responsibilities as required. Desired Qualifications: * Previous cash handling experience is a definite asset for this position. * Proficient in Outlook, Excel and Word with the ability to adapt to other software programs as required. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently with great attention to detail. Terms of Employment: * This is a part-time position that requires open availability including days, evenings, weekends and holidays. * Must be able to pass a basic security clearance. Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Pay: $16.00 per hour Benefits: * Company events * On-site parking Schedule: * Day shift * Evening shift * Monday to Friday * Morning shift * Weekends as needed Work Location: In person- LocationEdmonton, AB
