We are currently looking for an Industrial Painter.* S2 Metal Fabricators Ltd. is led by a diverse team of individuals that each carry distinctive abilities and strengths. Focusing on the industrial, institutional and commercial structural steel segment has allowed our staff to achieve expert status in those fields. We participate in steel fabrication for mining, mineral refining, petrochemical, hydroelectric, private and governmental environments. Whether the requirements are major CAPEX infrastructure or small maintenance repairs and upgrades we are the right choice. Together, we are always focused on providing an experience where everyone has a role in the success of the company. *Responsibilities & Duties* * Use a variety of tools and techniques to paint metal surfaces * Complete all require QA documents. * Apply paint, to metal surfaces * Safely dispose of all waste that?s generated during this process * Use your specialized knowledge to determine the best types of paints and painting techniques to use on a specific job * Applying protective coverings such as masking tape or plastic sheeting * Cleaning equipment and materials before use to remove debris such as paint splatters or residues from previous paint project. * Cleaning brushes rollers and other equipment used in painting jobs * Ensure that all safety standards are adhered too fully throughout each job * Transport materials, finished products, and equipment throughout shop manually or using powered equipment * Keep work area(s) organized and clean *Qualification & Experience* * High school diploma or equivalent * Previous experience in a similar role * Formal training in industrial painting is preferred * Specialized knowledge of industrial painting techniques and tools * Physical ability to remain standing for most of your shift * Ability to work well in both team settings and with minimal supervision For more information about our company, please visit our website at www.steel2000inc.com _We thank everyone who applies, however, only those selected will be contacted._ Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * Vision care Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Evening shift * Monday to Friday * Morning shift Work Location: In person- LocationChelmsford, ON
