*Position Summary*
In support of the mission, vision and values of CMHA Niagara and reporting to the Director of Business Operations, this position manages all information systems (IS) aspects assigned including: leadership, IS team supervision, recommendations for training, development needs of agency and IS structure, day to day IS service operations, accountable to action the IS work plans and coordinate escalation and delegation of IS issues. This position will provide administrative and technical support services to management, administration and program staff of CMHA Niagara. The Information Systems Manager will supervise the IS staff.
*Job Functions*
* Accomplishes productivity objectives by communicating job expectations, and mechanisms for performance management, including performance appraisals, and feedback procedures, at a program, team and individual level;
* Maintains Agency?s stability and reputation by ensuring high standards of professional conduct and quality of care, adhering to legislative requirements, policies and procedures, funding body criteria, and professional and Branch standards;
* Establishes and maintains working relationships with other information systems contacts and vendors, IS initiatives and community resources in the service catchment area, and others as directed;
* Supports all aspects of the talent management process, including talent acquisition and training in consultation with Human Resources;
* Supports annual performance development and management plans, performance issues and discipline, accommodation requests and return to work plans in consultation with Human Resources;
* Maintains up-to-date knowledge of information systems field and IS developments;
* Actions IS Strategy and Roadmap;
* Provides Tier 2 IS support with technical hardware and software repairs, training, inventory tracking, upgrades etc. leveraging the Alloy Navigator automation;
* Provides assistance and supervision to Tier 1 IS support staff with maintenance, staff support, user training and orientation;
* Provides Active Directory and network administration. Provides support with externally hosted software solutions;
* Oversees the annual IS budget and ensuring cost-effectiveness;
* Develops and maintains IS continuity plans with continuity/contingency planning, testing, knowledge base documentation and inventory records relating to the agency information systems. Accountable for testing, troubleshooting, and modifying information systems so that they operate effectively;
* Accountable for IS incident reporting and IS enterprise risk management;
* Accountable as subject matter expert for internal Information Systems applications and solutions such as the ticketing system, e-signature application, email, etc.;
* Remains up to date with advances in technology and industry best practices to facilitate provision of IS consultation and advice;
