Superior Facility Services is a family owned company providing cleaning services to manufacturing and health care facilities for over 30 years. We are searching for casual cleaners (housekeeping) for one of our locations in Orangeville, Ontario - Lord Dufferin Centre. *These positions require flexibility and availability each week. Must be able to work morning, afternoon and evening shifts with some flexibility and must be available for alternate weekend shifts. Candidate must be able to work in various areas of the facility with flexibility.* *This is a long term care facility. Candidates must be willing to work during pandemics/epidemics and be willing to adhere to all mandated and corporate policy and regulations pertaining to.* Must provide Vulnerable sector Police Check and 2 Step TB Test. Duties: Follow routines to ensure safe operation; Maintain overall cleanliness and upkeep of all facility; Follow job routines to maintain overall cleanliness of facility; launder and deliver facility linens and resident clothing; sweep, mop and wash floors; dust furniture; vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture; clean, disinfect fixtures; disinfect rooms and other areas; clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures; clean and disinfect elevators; handle and report lost and found items; pick up debris and empty trash containers. Working Conditions: Must be able to stand for long periods (experience is an asset but willing to train the right candidate). Must be able to use floor care machine. Must bring a positive can do attitude to work everyday. Involves pushing, pulling, bending, lifting and standing and walking for long periods of time. Willing to train the right candidate but experience is considered an asset. Superior Facility Services welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.
