*Overview* We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Recreation Director to lead our organization towards achieving its strategic goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a proven track record in project management, business development, and process improvement. As a key member of the executive team, the Director will be responsible for driving initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and foster growth. *Responsibilities* * Develop and implement strategic plans that align with the organization's vision and objectives. * Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and delivery. * Foster relationships with key stakeholders to identify business opportunities and drive growth initiatives. * Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, vendors, and partners to maximize organizational benefits. * Analyze existing processes and implement improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency. * Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making. * Prepare reports for senior management on project status, performance metrics, and operational improvements. *Qualifications* * Proven leadership experience in a similar role within the industry. * Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. * Demonstrated success in business development and relationship building. * Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on achieving win-win outcomes. * Experience in process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma is preferred. * Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization. * A bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
