*Job Overview* Mircom/Gardia Ltd. is currently seeking dedicated professionals with strong technical skills for our Fire alarm Preventive Maintenance and Verification departments. Candidates must have working experience in the Fire Alarm field with a strong work ethic and eagerness for growth while maintaining fire safety for our clients. *Responsibilities :* * Test Inspection of fire alarm systems. * Perform scheduled maintenance of fire alarm systems, emergency lights and fire extinguishers and fire hoses. * Trouble shooting various fire alarm-based issues. * Verification of fire alarm systems. * Programming of fire alarm systems * Compile inspection and verification reports and preparing deficiency list. * Mentoring and training junior technicians. *Qualifications and Skills:* * CFAA Certification * Knowledge of related codes and standards including CAN/ULC S536 and CAN/ULC S537 * Ability to communicate with clients and coworkers * Excellent customer service skills * Proficient in word, excel based software. * Looking for long term position * Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $18.00-$45.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Company car * Company pension * Dental care * Disability insurance * Extended health care * Life insurance * RRSP match * Vision care Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday * On call Experience: * Fire Alarm: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: * CFAA (preferred) * Clean Drivers Licence (preferred) Work Location: On the road- LocationToronto, ON
