We have an exciting opportunity for you! Nature's Emporium, a leading organic grocery store, we are seeking dynamic individuals to join our team and make a positive impact on the local community. We are currently hiring for the position of Line Cook. *Responsibilities and Duties* * Follow all proper food handling procedures * Ensure food quality meets Nature's Emporium standards * Assists in all food service operations and day-to-day operations of the kitchen. * Assists in the implementation and management of kitchen policies and procedures throughout scheduled shift. * Ensures products are stored at the correct temperatures with current menu items, portions, and ingredients. * Prepare ingredients, then cook and assemble dishes as indicated by recipes * Perform portion control and minimize waste to keep the cost within the forecasted range * Ensure that all dishes are prepared promptly by restocking ingredients at work station and meeting prep times to ensure smooth delivery * Set up and clean station according to store protocol * Maintain a clean workstation area, including kitchen equipment, tables, and shelves * Performs any other tasks as required by the Kitchen Manager *Qualifications and Skills* * Must have previous experience in a kitchen environment *Benefits* * benefits for full time employees after 3 months of employment * 20% discount for all staff Nature?s Emporium is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
