*Company description* We are a group of six independently owned and operated pharmacy locations proudly serving all of Kelowna, Lake Country and the surrounding Okanagan area. Our goal is to provide our patients with all their pharmacy needs including Custom Compounding, Compliance Pill Packaging, Home Health Care and Medical Supplies. Our company culture is one that promotes a positive work environment and work-life balance. *Job description* We are looking for an *experienced, full-time Pharmacy Assistant *to float between the *Dyck's Pharmacists in Kelowna and IDA pharmacies in Lake Country*. This position will typically be scheduled *Monday to Friday.* As a Pharmacy Assistant you will be responsible for processing and preparing prescriptions, assisting patients in person and over the phone, cashier duties, preparation of pill packs, preparing deliveries, ordering and inventory management, and assisting the Pharmacists with daily operations of the Pharmacy. The successful candidate will have: * Good verbal and written communication skills * The ability to work both independently and as part of a team * Exceptional customer service skills * Good organizational skills and the ability to multi task * Basic computer skills * Problem solving skills * Previous pharmacy experience required * Previous Kroll or HealthWatch software experience required (we use Kroll) * Ability to commute to any of the six locations *Wage is negotiable and will be based on previous pharmacy experience.* Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 32 ? 40 per week Benefits: * Extended health care * Store discount Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift Application question(s): * Do you have the means to commute to these pharmacies (including Kelowna AND Lake Country)?
