We are looking for a reliable, skilled Maintenance Manager able to delegate to a team of people and perform essential maintenance tasks throughout our facility. In this position you will responsible for a wide variety of activities such as repairs, plumbing, electrical, dry-wall, painting, HVAC, etc. Must have a keen eye for detail, be self-motivated and have significant work experience in this field. Display basic knowledge in the following categories: Air conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and finish skills. Perform all surface preparation, painting, minor drywall, and wood trim repair. Inspect and evaluate the physical condition of facilities and maintain accurate logs and records as required. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 50 pounds without assistance and heavier. As a department head, you are answerable for all things regarding the maintenance department. This includes being responsible for the scheduling of your team, reprimanding, coordinating with other departments, the procurement of items needed for repair and arrangement with vendors regarding billing and scheduling repairs. Qualifications: High School diploma or higher education Proven experience as a maintenance worker, preferably in a hotel setting Basic working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems Excellent communications and interpersonal skills Passion for creative problem-solving Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $21.50-$25.00 per hour Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Evening shift * Monday to Friday * Morning shift * On call * Weekends as needed Experience: * Maintenance: 3 years (required) * HVAC: 3 years (required) Work Location: In person- LocationNiagara Falls, ON
