*Job Description*
Reporting to Director of Information Technology, the *Systems Administrator ? Network & Security* manages and executes the delivery of professional, technical and analytical IT Infrastructure services and solutions to the organization, providing strategic and tactical planning, development, evaluation and coordination of the technology and security systems that support the company?s business goals.
*Key Accountabilities*
· Ownership of the company?s shared IT Infrastructure, including the design, implementation and support of LAN, WAN, VPN, WLAN, NAC, load balancers, Switching/Routing, Data Center infrastructure, Next-Gen firewalls including IPS, wireless infrastructure, etc.
· Maintain SSL certificates on Internet-facing devices and Domain Name System (DNS) zone information.
· Correlate highly technical information from multiple sources to determine the validity and risk from Information Technology security platforms and technology system logs, responding to events generated by the company?s security platforms, tools, and partners.
· Assist with the resolution of tickets and escalated issues and actively participating in problem management activities.
· Manage Service health using Remote Management Monitoring tools, leading incident response, and troubleshooting efforts; ensuring Root Cause Analysis is provided to management and logging of all incidents and problems for continuous improvement efforts.
· Implement and maintain polices and goals that support the organization?s technology and security requirements, including antivirus, group security policy, firewall policy, endpoint protection, vulnerability management and patch management, applying security patches and implement configuration changes required to mitigate security issues aligned with global Information Security standards.
· Perform regular technology currency updates, maintenance fixes, vendor supplied patches and other maintenance activities based on established procedures and standards required to support the IT infrastructure.
· Ensure the highest level of security including scanning for virus, malware, phishing attacks, etc. and ensures that compliance to industry best practices is followed.
· Assist with security threat and risk assessments to evaluate implemented controls and their effectiveness in line with business expectations.
· Maintain complete documentation of existing Infrastructure, Network, Services and Systems. Assist in the development, implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of Information Security policies and procedures, including relevant controls for ISO 27001 and other audits.
· Maintain backup and recovery procedures, perform regular tests to validate these procedures.
· Strong attention to detail, comprehensive problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
· Participate in other information technology related project and tasks.
*Education and Experience*
· A College/Bachelors or Post-secondary degree in the field of Computer Science or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of relevant industry experience.
· 5+ years? experience as Senior Network Administrator/Engineer in a mid to large-scale environment with exposure to Cisco platforms (routers, switches, firewall, ISE), Cisco ASA, Palo Alto firewalls / Panorama.
· Recognized Certifications in Palo Alto, Cisco, VMware, Microsoft, or other relevant combinations (CCNP/CCIE, MCSE and/or CISSP Certification desirable).
· Hands-on experience with Cloud migrations (Azure / AWS) and Disaster Recovery/High Availability would be an asset.
· An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
*Technical Requirements*
· Solid understanding of *Cisco* switching, firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, Trunks, ACLs, multicast routing.
· Experience configuring and monitoring Cisco Systems such as Cisco *ISE*, *AnyConnect*, *AMP*, *Meraki,* SecureConnect, *Umbrella* / SecureX, *Duo*,
