We currently have an opening for a *Logistics Coordinator (Shipping and Receiving).* This position is essential to the efficient and timely movement of materials and products between suppliers, the shop, warehouse, and customers. The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating day-to-day shipping and receiving activities, logistic processes, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: * Receive all incoming products and materials, checking against pack lists for accuracy of goods received and checking for damage or quality issues. * Ensure supporting documentation has been received, verified, and processed in accordance with the purchase order. * Adhere to and support inventory management, integrity, and procedures * Facilitate kitting procedures. * Organize and package shipments using approved, established routines and methods. * Liaise with internal departments, carriers, and others as necessary, to coordinate, confirm, and expedite both internal and external orders and schedules. * Manage supporting documents and reports for incoming and outgoing shipments, warehouse, and health and safety. * Alert Purchasing to any inventory depletions. * Submit accurate inventory documentation. * Organize and maintain the warehouse in an orderly way to comply with company requirements, procedures, and standards. * Support the development and maintenance of a procedures manual. * Provide training support to department personnel. * Provide Plant management with input to assist with department reviews * Ensure compliance with all applicable WorkSafe BC legislation and regulations. * Comply with Company safety policies, procedures, and safety plans. * In cooperation with maintenance, ensure that equipment is kept in good working order. Why you should consider ADAM Integrated: * Competitive wages * Comprehensive health benefits for you and your family * Year-round stable employment * Opportunities to learn new things and develop your career * Safety training and a commitment to a safe & healthy work environment * Diverse work opportunities * A forward-thinking employer, with a modern shop and state of the art equipment *Requirements:* * 5 years prior experience with shipping, receiving, logistics and warehousing. * High degree of competency with logistics, brokering, and cross-border rules. * Demonstrated forklift experience and knowledge unloading/loading large heavy loads such as steel and aluminum. * Class 5 drivers license * Air brake certification is preferred * An ability to provide leadership, training and support to others * Positive attitude and self-awareness of own limitations * Excellent organizational and communication skills * Commitment to working safely * Demonstrated accuracy and pride in work * Demonstrated attention to detail, timeliness, and accuracy * Willingness to work overtime or shift work if required * Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs This is a great opportunity for someone with prior experience, to join a dynamic team. This position is Monday-Friday, daytime. Salary will be determined based on experience.
