Responsibilities: - Perform dental cleanings and oral examinations for patients - Take and develop dental x-rays - Educate patients on Periodontal disease, proper oral hygiene techniques and provide oral health instructions - Administer local anesthesia as needed - Assist the dentist during procedures and maintain a sterile working environment - Document patient treatment plans, progress, and notes accurately in dental records Skills: - Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and explain dental procedures - Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and thorough cleanings - Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals - Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments - Proficiency in using dental software for record keeping Please note that a valid dental hygiene license is required for this position.
