The *Executive Chef* is a culinary leader responsible for overseeing all aspects of food production for Outlets and Banquets and the stewarding department. This role includes Developing creative menus, analyze cost ratios, and responsible for food ordering specifications and recipes. The Executive Chef leads and trains kitchen staff, manages budgets, and ensures compliance with health and safety standards. With a focus on both creativity and efficiency, they balance the demands of delivering exceptional dining experiences while maintaining operational effectiveness.
*YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:*
* Oversight of the selection, training, development, and supervision of food production team members, including Sous Chefs, Cooks, and other Kitchen Hosts, ensuring efficient and consistent operations.
* Design and develop menus for all food service areas, taking into account the customer base, dish popularity, current trends, production costs, and other relevant factors.
* Monitor Marriott Guestvoice feedback to assess food quality and identify trends. Implement necessary adjustments to meet or exceed brand standards and guest expectations.
* Schedule and coordinate kitchen staff to ensure all food preparation follows recipes and is executed to the highest technical standards.
* Conduct regular inventories, assess food supply needs, and order necessary food and supplies to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
* Ensure high standards of sanitation and cleanliness are consistently maintained throughout the kitchen.
* Establish and enforce controls to minimize food and supply waste and prevent theft.
* Continuously improve food quality across outlets and banquets, adapting to market demands and guest expectations.
* Clearly communicate expectations set by the Leadership Team to all culinary staff, ensuring alignment with overall hotel goals.
* Provide culinary expertise and support to the Leadership Team, particularly the Director of Food & Beverage
