Job Posting:?Camp Manager at Black Sheep Camp Kootenay River Location:?Canal Flats, BC Position:?Camp Manager Employment Type: Seasonal/Full-Time Salary: Negotiated Range of $40,000 to $60,000 ($75,000 to $90,000 for a team/couple) ? Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Camp Manager to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a customer service-oriented, ownership mindset, and capable of wearing multiple hats. ? About Us: Black Sheep Ventures is focused on building and acquiring RV campgrounds and self-storage locations.??Our Camp, Camp Kootenay River, is a beautiful outdoor destination nestled in the heart of the stunning Kootenay region of British Columbia. We are dedicated to providing our guests with a memorable camping experience surrounded by nature, serene landscapes, and abundant recreational activities. We are conveniently located near several mountains, lakes, and rivers - offering immediate access to all-terrain vehicles, mountain biking, hiking, fishing, rafting, canoeing, kayaking and more.? ? Your Profile: You have management experience in the camping, hospitality, hotel industries, or similar customer focused environments.?You have excellent interpersonal skills and can communicate with people at all levels. You are proficient or willing to learn Booking Systems (Campspot), Email, Word, and Excel. You understand marketing and operations around what drives the success of an RV Camp.?? ? Job Description:? Customer Relations? * Provide exceptional customer service through your own abilities and through training staff on how to effectively deliver exceptional customer service. * Contribute to building brand recognition for the property and our company based on delivery of service.? * Ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for guests and employees.? * Daily walking the property and customer relations.?? * Ensure customer complaints are dealt with quickly and in person? Personnel Management? * Plan, prioritize and execute all work that needs to be done to run a great Camp. * Perform office, site maintenance and cleaning duties along with staff or on your own at slow times or low season. * Hire, train and manage staff as required. * Ensure that the Camp is well maintained and all operating at high level of service and effectiveness. * Ensure all staff members understand Camp goals, standards and policies and comply with company policies and procedures that you develop in conjunction with the owners.?? * Be a positive role model for staff.? * Schedule and monitor shift-coverage based on business needs. Camp Operations? * Promote a business environment that is customer friendly.? * Managing and oversight of all reservations and the software and ensure customer booking system functions properly and efficiently. ? * Lead by example in a team-based work environment.? * ?Think like an owner? by promoting a work environment that reinforces operational effectiveness and operational efficiency to assure continued profitability.? * Promote and maintain a positive working relationship with all Camp business partners.? * Handling all outgoing and incoming mail, courier packages and registered mail as required.? * Administering and monitoring excel spreadsheets for utilities tracking.? * Ensuring Camp equipment and facilities are in good repair.? * Financial? * Participation in preparation of annual budget.? * Ensure employee timekeeping and payroll activities are properly executed.? * Produce all invoices for clients using a booking and management system.?? * Ensure information/reports provided to owners are timely, accurate and on-target.? * Procurement & sales of inventory, goods and services according to protocols established by owners. Health and Safety? * Ensure all Camp activities are conducted in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.? * Ensure that all Camp facilities are maintained in safe condition.? * Immediately notify owners when Camp operations are unsafe and/or beyond no- LocationCanal Flats, BC
