Year round positions available! *Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to providing high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall dining experience of our guests. *Duties* * Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. * Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper food handling and storage practices. * Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages. * Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the health and safety of our guests. * Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during peak service times. * Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols. *Qualifications* * Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred. * Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards. * Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting. * Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. * Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. * Familiarity with various kitchen equipment and tools is an asset. * A passion for cooking and the food industry, with a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
