*Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist ? Dental Experience Preferred* *Location:* Calgary, AB *Company:* Oak Dental Group *Employment Type:* Full-Time *Job Description:* As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing the billing and collections process for our dental practice. You will be responsible for ensuring timely payments from patients and insurance providers, maintaining accurate financial records, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our financial operations. *Key Responsibilities:* * Manage accounts receivable for dental services, including billing, collections, and payment processing. * Review and verify patient and insurance information for accuracy. * Prepare and send invoices to patients and insurance companies in a timely manner. * Follow up on outstanding accounts and initiate collection processes as needed. * Collaborate with dental staff to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure smooth operations. * Maintain accurate records of payments, adjustments, and correspondence related to accounts receivable. * Generate financial reports related to accounts receivable and aging analysis. * Assist with month-end closing procedures and reconciliations. *Qualifications:* * Minimum of [2-3 years] experience in accounts receivable, with a focus on dental or healthcare settings. * Proficiency in dental billing software (e.g., Dentrix, ClearDent, or similar). * Strong understanding of insurance verification and claims processing. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. * Experience in QuickBooks *What We Offer:* * Competitive salary and benefits package. * Opportunities for professional growth and development. * Supportive and collaborative work environment. *How to Apply:* If you are a motivated and experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist with a background in dental AR, we invite you to apply!
