*Job Overview* We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Barista Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our Lake side Galley Cafe. This role is key to maintaining our high standards of quality, exceptional customer service, and a welcoming atmosphere. The Gally Supervisor will support staff, manage workflow, ensure consistent product quality, and help create a memorable experience for every customer. *Key Responsibilities* * Oversee all staff as well as daily operations of the Galley (including customer inquiries, complaints etc.) * Scheduling (weekly schedules, time off approval etc.) * Time sheet approval as well as updating daily report * Monthly Inventory * Hiring (including candidate selection, interviews, paperwork) * Training, including development of training manuals * Product ordering, coding and invoicing * Seasonal Drink& food menu development and costing * Deliver and model outstanding customer service, ensuring every guest receives a warm and welcoming experience. * Address customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally. * Cultivate an inviting environment that reflects the KYC brand and values. * Staff Supervision and Training * Support staff in delivering high-quality products and service, providing constructive feedback and coaching. * Operations and Workflow Management * Monitor stock levels of coffee, supplies, and food items; coordinate with suppliers for timely reordering. * Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, equipment * Assignment and oversight of daily activities and tasks, including addressing customer service standards and issues in a professional manner maintenance, and cleanliness. *Qualifications:* *Experience:* At least 3 years of experience in working in a cafe, or similar environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role. *Skills:* Strong leadership and organizational skills; exceptional customer service and communication abilities. *Knowledge:* Familiarity with specialty coffee preparation, brewing techniques, and espresso machines preferred. *Availability:* Must be available to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed. *Competencies:* *Attention to Detail:* Keen eye for quality control in drink preparation, food presentation, and shop aesthetics. *People-Oriented:* Friendly and engaging, with the ability to foster a positive team culture and connect with customers. *Problem-Solving:* Able to think quickly and handle customer or staff issues effectively. *Passion for Coffee:* Enthusiasm for high-quality coffee and dedication to learning about products, trends, and techniques.
