*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated, caring and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice in this temporary full time role until January 2026. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental hygiene care to our patients, educating them on oral health, and assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional patient experiences. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Our established family dental practice works a four day week with no evenings or weekends. *Duties* * Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal treatments for patients. * Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical history. * Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. * Assist dentists during examinations and procedures as needed. * Maintain accurate patient records. * Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment. * Address patient inquiries with excellent customer service skills. *Experience* * Valid dental hygienist registration with the BCCOHP * Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred * Proficiency in using Cleardent or similar dental software will be advantageous.
