For over 50 years, we have proudly served and responded to the needs of our clients.</p><p>We are seeking for a dedicated <strong>Senior Tax Analyst</strong> in our Tax Services team!</p><p> </p><p><strong>Job Responsibilities and Duties include: </strong></p><p>• Researching, analyzing, and making recommendations to management for a wide variety of tax issues</p><p>• Performing technical tax review for personal and corporate tax returns and tax filings of moderate complexity</p><p>• Preparing complex personal and corporate tax returns</p><p>• Preparing trust/estate tax returns</p><p>• Drafting tax research memorandums that include relevant facts, analysis and conclusions using applicable tax laws</p><p>• Participating in technical discussions relating to client assignments</p><p>• Communicating with Canada Revenue Agency</p><p>• Identifying potential areas of risk and discuss those issues with management</p><p>• Assisting in the development and implementation of tax planning strategies for clients</p><p>• Communicating effectively with key stakeholders</p><p>• Identifying client planning and compliance opportunities during tax reviews</p><p>• Researching and drafting a portion of the proposal</p><p>• Acting on the formal or informal feedback from others</p><p>• Communicating file progress to person responsible for the engagement</p><p>• Understanding accountability and take ownership of own work</p><p>• Assisting with general administrative duties as required</p><p>• Participating in 3 business development activities, including identification of the opportunity</p><p>• Staying active in industry, professional, community, and firm events</p><p> </p><p><strong>Minimum requirements</strong></p><p>• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting</p><p>• CPA designation completed or in progress</p><p>• CCH Tax Prep programs and CaseWare experience</p><p>• Strong Microsoft Excel skills</p><p>• Minimum 2 years' experience within a public accounting firm, of which at least 1 year is in tax</p><p> </p><p><strong>Business Skills:</strong></p><p>• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal</p><p>• Positive and professional attitude</p><p>• Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities</p><p>• Highly motivated, organized, and dependable with excellent time management skills</p><p>• Ability to adapt to change and respond to customer needs</p><p>• Highly self-motivated and directed</p><p>• Ability to work autonomously and make informed decisions</p><p>• Showcasing strong social skills, fostering positive relationships with colleagues and promoting a culture of teamwork and sharing knowledge</p><p> </p><p><strong>Hours of Work & Remuneration</strong></p><p><strong>Wage (hourly)</strong>: $35.00/hour exclusive of benefits</p><p><strong>Hours</strong>: Full time, approximately 38,5 hours per week</p><p><strong>Benefits</strong>:</p><p>Once eligible - health, dental, & vision benefits, RRSP matching, wellness program, professional development and training, is designed to reward success and commitment</p><p><strong>Job location</strong>: 785 Wonderland Rd.
