Applicants must be able to handle high-stress situations and keep up with a busy environment. * *\*This position is for Fridays and Saturdays for now till we open up as a full-time lounge in the coming weeks; those with open availabilities in the evenings will be preferred* *Please note: We will only accept resumes of those who have worked at a nightclub or busy bar for at least 2 years. * We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with patrons, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role is crucial in enhancing the overall guest experience while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization at the bar. *Responsibilities* * Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. * Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and making recommendations. * Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies. * Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for order processing and payments (Square). * Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service. * Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when necessary. * Stay informed about drink trends and menu changes to provide knowledgeable service. *Qualifications* * Previous bartending experience in a nightclub/bar is required * Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. * Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and providing accurate change. * Experience in food service or hospitality is a plus. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. * Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. - Ability to work hours between 7 pm to 3 am with the occasional busy nights going to 4 am is a must. - Attention to detail during prep and closing. More hours may be required as this is a range that will be dependent on the business needs and hours, we do not guarantee hours but the range can be changed at any point.
