Job details
Customer Service Representative (CSR) serves as the contact for all customer inquiries. CSR enters customer purchase orders and follows them through from the beginning manufacturing process to completion of shipment. CSR issues customer invoices and sends to the appropriate customer contact. CSR completes required shipping documentation when required, provides customer follow up, and maintains files.
*MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*
*Order Processing*
· Enter orders into computer
· Confirm pricing
· Confirm minimum order quantity
· Determine stock availability
· Give order to manufacturing or purchasing
· Determine shipping date
· Print pink slip with appropriate packing instructions
· Print confirmation & attach to order
*Customer Follow Up*
· Complete Proforma invoice if payment required prior to shipment
· Send customer order confirmation
· Advise customer of stock availability / order ship date
· Some customers to be advised of shipment dimensions to obtain own freight quote
· Follow up on customer order status
*Shipping documents*
· Issue packing lists for shipments
· Issue invoices for shipments
· Send invoices to appropriate customer contacts
*Miscellaneous*
· Update price lists as necessary
· Create/update files as necessary
· Answer telephones
· Complete the daily order action summary
· Prepare reports
· Additional duties as required
*EXPERIENCE/SKILLS*
· Experience with Sage is an asset
· Excellent communication skills
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office
· Attention to detail
· Organizational skills
· Customer Service Experience is an asset
*QUALIFICATIONS*
· High School Diploma (or equivalent)
· 3 years Customer Service experience
· Post-graduate business courses an asset.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
