<p> THE JAMES BAY LOWLANDS SECONDARY SCHOOL BOARD Requires for NORTHERN LIGHTS SECONDARY SCHOOL, MOOSONEE, ONTARIO 1.0 Technology Education Teacher (Int/Sen) Northern Lights Secondary School (NLSS), is located in the town of Moosonee, Ontario, on the Moose River. Moosonee is an ideal location for living an outdoor lifestyle and you would not need a vehicle to live in Moosonee and work at NLSS. The JBLSSB Board offers an excellent salary as per OSSTF Collective Agreement , subsidized staff housing and a travel allowance . <p>Applicants should be qualified teachers in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers with qualifications in Technology Education (Manufacturing / Construction / Transportation or other Skilled Trades) to support curriculum expectations in various courses at the Intermediate / Senior level.<p>*** Individuals that are Qualified Skilled Tradesperson in the areas of Manufacturing / Construction / Transportation are encouraged to also apply if they are interested in becoming a Technology Education Teacher. *** Applicants should be experienced in a secondary school setting or working with adolescent youth, possess effective instruction, communication and assessment skills, and a demonstrated ability to foster relationships in support of student well-being.
