<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p>Secondary (high) school graduation certificate, some <span class="long-word">college/CEGEP/vocational</span> or technical training.</p><p>MUST HAVE A CANADIAN RED SEAL 306A PLUMBING LICENCE</p><p>Must have a drivers license</p><p><strong>Experience</strong><br />5 Years or More of work experience as a plumber and experience with large to small residential plumbing projects</p><p><strong>Wage</strong><br />$32-$45/hr for 45 hours per week based on ability and experience</p><p><strong>Anticipate start date:</strong> as soon as possible</p><p><strong>Location</strong>: Toronto and Greater Toronto area</p><p>Hydron Plumbing and Mechanical deals with plumbing, drainage and hydronic heating providing a variety of services in commercial and residential settings. Plumbing services include but aren't limited to: Rough-In and Fixture Installation, Leak<br />Detection, Water Filtration, Hot Water Tank Installation and Replacement, Tempering<br />Valve Installation, Above and Below Ground Drains and Vents, Drain Water Heat<br />Recovery, Sewage Ejector, Back Water Valve Installation, Sump Pumps, Supply and<br />Install High Efficiency Boilers, Cast Iron Radiators, Panel Radiators, Baseboard and<br />Kick Space Heaters, Radiant Underfloor Heating Systems.</p><p><strong>Position Summary:</strong><br />Plumber will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of pipes, fixtures and other plumbing equipment used for water distribution and wastewater disposal.<br />Individual will be required to Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and drainage systems.<br />He/she will work using safe work practices with items such as, but not limited to, water supply networks and drainage systems.</p><p><strong>Specific Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Install, maintain and repair plumbing systems and components</li><li>Review project drawings to perform installation activities according to specifications</li><li>Ensure adherence to all building codes, installation requirements and any relevant legislation</li><li>Review blueprints and specifications; ensure drawings and specifications will function as designed in environment intended for use.</li><li>Locate and mark the position of pipe installations and connections.</li><li>Excavate for drain repair and waterproofing commercial and residential properties</li><li>Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes required angle, shape and size using various hand or power tools as well as machinery such as pipe cutters</li><li>Inspect pipes after installation to ensure there are no leaks</li><li>Maintain a supply of regularly used parts and filters in stock, ordering replenishment as necessary, with experience and strong familiarity in high-end</li></ul><p>European and north American fixtures and appliances installations.</p><ul><li>Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and drainage systems</li><li>Install, repair and maintain residential and commercial plumbing fixtures and systems</li><li>Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors</li><li>Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings</li><li>Join pipes using couplings, bolts, cement and soldering.</li><li>Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Skills</strong><br />Supervise other workers<br />Schedule personnel, tools and equipment<br />Instruct apprentices<br />Estimate materials needed for days weeks following.</p><ul><li><strong>Work Setting</strong></li></ul><p>Residential<br />Commercial<br />Service</p><p>Job Type: Full-time</p><p>Pay: $32.00-$45.00 per hour</p><p>Schedule:</p><p> </p><ul><li>Day shift</li><li>Monday to Friday</li><li>Weekends as needed</li></ul><p> </p><p>Application question(s):</p><p> </p><ul><li>Are you living in the the Canada/greate- LocationToronto, ON
