Job details
Education: Master's degree. Work setting: Sports therapy. Orthopedics. Acute care therapy. Medical clinic. Chronic care therapy center. Tasks: Assess patients' physical abilities. Supervise technical and support staff. Plan physiotherapy programs. Select appropriate exercises, apparatus and manipulations. Maintain clinical and progress reports. Confer with other health professionals. Teach and/or supervise exercises to patients. Administer evaluative tests and procedures. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities. Personal suitability: Punctuality. Client focus. Efficient interpersonal skills. Excellent oral communication. Judgement. Screening questions: Are you available for the advertised start date?. Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?.
