JOB PURPOSE:
Complete general repairs, preventative maintenance, and minor process improvements for the manufacturing equipment at the Belleville plant.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
* Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions and repairing as required; following operators manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering drawings
* Maintain accurate equipment repair / modification documentation in collaboration with the engineering department.
* Support outside technicians / vendors when facilitating repairs and installations.
* Assist in the integration, start-up and debug of automated equipment.
* Follow safety standards set forth by the Company and Lock-Out-Tag-Out (LOTO) programs.
* Notifies department team leader when problems arise concerning equipment, operations, materials, etc.
* Performs related duties as assigned.
* Must be available for on-call rotation on a regular / scheduled basis.

* Significant knowledge relating to pneumatic and hydraulic systems
* Strong understanding of electric motors, gearboxes, and general drive systems
* Fabrication related experience i.e. the ability to fabricate small jigs, fixtures, material racking, carts, work benches, etc. using standard machine shop related equipment
* Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
* General measurement and mathematical skills
* Self-directed and an independent worker
* Strong organizational skills
* Ability to understand and follow written and verbal work instructions.
* Ability to work at heights.
* Ability to work in confined spaces
* Ability to obtain forklift license
*Summary*
As an Electrician, you will utilize your core skills in hand tools, construction, schematics, low voltage, power tools, and electrical experience to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems. Your premium skills in blueprint reading and industrial electrician experience will be essential for handling complex projects and troubleshooting advanced electrical issues. Additionally, your organizational skills will ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols on job sites. *Qualifications*
* Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
* Experienced in construction and interpreting schematics
* Familiar with low voltage systems and electrical troubleshooting
* Skilled in blueprint reading and industrial electrician tasks
* Strong organizational skills and ability to operate a forklift
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
