Terra Nova Truss provides not only challenging career opportunities, excellent benefits, on-the-job training, but also a friendly environment in which to work. *Job Summary* Drivers are responsible for operating various tractor-trailer combinations for delivery of roof trusses, floor joist, as well as LVL/Glulam materials to job sites. Drivers will operate roll-off trailers that deliver to rural and developed areas for a wide variety of clients in a safe, timely and efficient manner. Permanent/Full Time Position. Hours of operation are Monday to Friday from 7am to 4pm and off on the weekends. *Responsibilities* * Maintaining a professional image and always representing in a professional manner on the roads, job site and in the yard * Loading and delivering product to job sites as required * Ensuring load is properly secured and balanced for safe transport of merchandise * Conducts a thorough pre-trip inspection of tractor and trailer for defects during and after trips, reporting any issues immediately. * Unloading product in a safe and presentable manner in the proper location according to customer directions and company policy. * Ensuring all required shipping documentation accompanies all deliveries and obtains receipts and signatures when needed. * Properly maintains a driver?s log in accordance to company policies. Properly and efficiently completes all necessary paperwork including inspection reports, accident reports, and any other daily checklists. * Driving conditions in all seasons with variable road, yard, and weather conditions *Qualifications * Must have AZ Driver?s License. CVOR and Driving Abstract required. Must be 25 years or older. A document proving 3 years? experience is required. Must have document knowledge regarding Driver?s Logbook, inspection reports, maintenance and repair reports, trip reports and accident or incident reports. Skills required reading, numeracy, writing, communications, working with others, problem solving, decision making, job task planning and organizing. Safety requirement ? must have steel-toed safety boots.
