If you would like to be on a team of Great People delivering great service, we may have just the opportunity for you. *The job involves:* · Fitting, altering and mending of associates uniforms to ensure adherence to Niagara Casinos appearance standards · Assisting with the managing of inventory by counting and receiving incoming stock items, sewing electronic chips into new garments and advising the Uniform Supervisor when stock items are low · Performing preventative maintenance on a variety of industrial sewing machines ·Identifying machine malfunctions such as parts, equipment or threading issues and performing minor adjustments · Assisting the Uniform Attendants when required · Working as one team under stressful conditions during high volume business levels · Thorough knowledge of all activities and promotions occurring at our casino properties · Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation working weekends and holidays *The ideal candidate has:* · Minimum of 3 years experience as a tailor · Experience with blind hemmer, serger and industrial sewing machine · Basic knowledge and familiarity with embroidery machines · Exceptional communication and customer service skills · Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines · Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office *We thank all applicants for their interest, however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted* *Niagara Casinos is committed to creating an accessible and inclusive environment by providing equal opportunity to candidates of all abilities.
