Job details
Education: Bachelor's degree. Electrical and electronics engineering. Mechanical engineering. Tasks: Interpret blueprints or other instructions to plan methods or sequences of operation. Read blueprints or other instructions to determine work requirements. Assist in design, development and testing. Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications and reports. Assist in inspecting, testing and adjusting electronic components. Assist in building and testing prototypes to specifications. Conduct or supervise the installation, commissioning, and operation of electrical and electronic equipment and systems. Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies and systems. Supervise and inspect the installation and operation of electrical and electronic systems and equipment. Prepare material cost and timing estimates, reports and design specifications. Develop maintenance and operating standards for electrical and electronic systems and equipment. Conduct feasibility, design operation and performance research of electrical generation and distribution networks. Computer and technology knowledge: AutoCAD. MS Office. Security and safety: Basic security clearance. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Do you have previous experience in this field of employment?.
