Gate 1 Travel, one of the leaders of international escorted tour vacation packages, is looking for experienced, enthusiastic, charismatic, and upbeat individuals who have a proven track record of achieving high sales and high customer satisfaction to work in our soon to be opened call center in Toronto. *POSITION SNAPSHOT* The Inbound Reservations Sales Agent provides friendly, professional, and detailed advice to clients wanting to book memorable vacations . We strive to provide a consistently positive experience to every client, during every contact. Using excellent customer service skills, you'll welcome callers, answer questions about tours and travel details, provide suggestions, help clients choose best available airfare, and close sales by creating new reservations. Training will be conducted online from the comfort of your home *REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:* * Valid TICO Certification * Enthusiastic phone presence * Outstanding customer service skills including professionalism, respect, empathy, friendly disposition, positive attitude and patience * Strong verbal command of English with ability to communicate clearly and articulately * Good written communication skills * Excellent computer, technology, and Internet skills with ability to navigate multiple screens and perform basic computer troubleshooting * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite * Cognitive ability to learn and process new information and choose appropriate action * Familiarity with a GDS (Amadeus) preferred, not required * General knowledge of world geography *SCHEDULE* Must be flexible and able to work days, evenings, and weekends. Current Contact Center operating hours (EST) are Mondays ? Fridays 9:00AM ? 9:00PM and Saturdays and Sundays 9:00AM ? 5:00PM. *COMPENSATION* During training, compensation will be hourly. Afterward, compensation is an adjusted hourly rate plus commission with no commission cap ? including potential monthly bonuses and incentives. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year Additional pay: * Commission pay Benefits: * Casual dress Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift Ability to commute/relocate: * Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) Experience: * Travel Sales: 1 year (preferred) Language: * English (required) Licence/Certification: * TICO certification (preferred) Location: * Toronto, ON (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationToronto, ON
