*Overview*
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. This role is essential for the smooth operation of our financial department and requires proficiency in various accounting software and practices. Experience working in a faced paced environment with a large work load a must!
*Responsibilities*
* Perform bank reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial records.
* Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
* Utilize accounting software for financial reporting and record-keeping.
* Assist in budgeting processes by providing necessary financial data and insights.
* Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
* Maintain organized financial documents and records for easy retrieval and audit purposes.
* Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that support business decisions.
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports as required.
*Requirements*
* Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
* Proficiency in accounting software
* Strong understanding of basic accounting principles including bank reconciliation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
* Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines.
* Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data effectively.
* A degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred but not mandatory; relevant experience will be considered.
