*Our company is looking for an outgoing, enthusiastic Full Time HVAC Installer to join our incredible team at our Vancouver head office!* "Way Too Cool" is not just our motto, it's our definition of what we do and who we are. Cool Air Rentals has grown to be one of the largest suppliers of temporary air conditioning and heating units in Canada. Our purpose-built equipment is designed to roll in, plug in, and turn on. Our diverse clients include film and TV productions, construction projects, commercial sites, industrial processes, and health care. This is a full-time position that includes organizing and cleaning rental equipment and assisting with the installation and removal of temporary heating and cooling equipment at job sites. *Primary Duties and Responsibilities:* * Cleaning, testing, and tagging of equipment that ensures its return to active rental status. * Assisting with the cleaning and storing of hose, duct, and accessories * Maintaining an organized work warehouse and outdoor compound * Loading and unloading trucks. *In the field:* * Picking equipment and accessories from the warehouse to be used on installations. * Loading, delivering, and installing portable cooling and heating equipment. * Maintaining a safe, effective, and organized workspace. * Assisting with the retrieval of equipment and transport back to our shop at the end of the rental period. * Returning the job site to its original condition on completion of work. * Representing Cool Air in a confident, professional manner. *Qualifications:* * *Knowledge, skills and abilities* * *High School Diploma* * *Solid customer service skills* * *Fluency in English is required for both verbal and written communication.* * *Experience with hand and power tools, and mechanically inclined.* * *Class 5 drivers license with a clean driving record.* *Personal Characteristics:* * Tenacity and adaptability are the key attributes we seek. * Energetic, enthusiastic and a willingness to work in a dynamic environment. * Able to show initiative and work efficiently to solve problems. * Enjoys working in a team environment. * Some flexibility in working overtime hours during the week as well as managing occasional on-call weekends particularly during the peak summer months. *What We Offer:* A competitive compensation package that includes: * Competitive pay * Annual bonus * DPSP in which Cool Air will contribute a percentage of your base salary towards your retirement * Group benefits plan * Yearly educational reimbursement * Fully stocked fridge for lunch and snacks * Occasional overtime * Out-of-town travel may be required from time-to-time NOTE: Please be aware that this position includes a heavy physical component.
