This position is located in Sherbrooke, NS. You must be located in the area to be considered. Out of area applications will not be accepted.Duties:Provide exceptional customer service and respond to inquiries from the publicMonitor entrances and ensure all visitors are following Public Health guidelinesPatrol client properties by foot to prevent unauthorized entry and politely direct disruptive individuals to leave the premisesProvide specialized security services and sustain effective relationships with key stakeholdersFollow and enforce rules, regulations, policies and proceduresRespond to and report irregularities, security breaches, hazards and emergenciesUtilize radios, handheld devices and computer applications to communicate site activityWrite clear and comprehensive reports including daily activity reports and incident reportsRequirements:Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, including report writing.Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, professional demeanor and deportmentAbility to solve problems, make decisions and respond to emergencies under pressureDiscretion when handling confidential and private informationPhysical ability to stand, sit and walk for extended periods of timeAbility to pass a security clearance and obtain a security license (a valid security license is considered an asset)High school diploma or equivalent and of legal ageQualificationsHigh School Diploma/GEDOther InformationPaladin Security: Making the World a Safer and Friendlier Place because we CARE!
