We are thrilled to announce our staff expansion in the Okanagan, and our Operations department is actively seeking a talented individual to join our team. Be part of our exciting growth as we navigate new territories and conquer challenges. *Position: Transfer Driver* *Location: Kamloops* In this role, you'll be an integral link between our Okanagan and Lower Mainland operations with our daily transfer of freight. *Key Responsibilities:* * Interact with our fleet of drivers and regional sales personnel, facilitating the smooth transfer of freight and supplies. * Self load and unload using electric pallet racks or forklift depending on equipment comfort level. Forklift experience is an asset, however professional training can be provided for the right candidate. * Take care of company trucks, trailers, and associated equipment through responsible usage, safe driving, and adherence to local laws, scale reporting and brake checks. *Schedule and Benefits:* * Operating days: Monday to Friday, Day / evening shift (excluding statutory and Load Warrior holidays). * Eligibility for benefits after 3 months, with 3 weeks of vacation offered annually. * Competitive starting wage of $30 per hour, with overtime opportunities. * Career advancement opportunities within our ambitious and growing company. *Qualifications:* * Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor when interacting with customers and staff. * Ability to work effectively independently. * Pride in delivering high-quality work. * Positive can-do attitude. * Class 1 license with no major infractions and limited minor infractions on abstract.
