If you are tired of working for the Big-Box stores carrying on factory style pharmacy and would find it refreshing to provide a more personalized care in your practice, then North End Pharmacy Remedy?s Rx may be the pharmacy workplace you are seeking and we look forward to meeting you. *Your Pharmacist role will include (but are not limited to) the following activities and responsibilities:* · Prepare, dispense and control medications accurately and timely to patients · Counsel patients in regards to prescription and OTC medications in a friendly, positive and client-centered interaction · Receive and process Rx orders in compliance with local laws and regulations · Evaluate appropriateness of prescription orders considering patient safety and legal requirements · Provide clinical services where appropriate (adaptations, medication reviews, minor ailment assessments, immunizations etc.) in addressing patient needs · Complete third-party adjudications necessary as part of prescription processing · Coordinate and supervise the non-sterile compounding and dispensing of drugs according to medication orders issued by authorized medical care providers and be responsible for the timely processing of medication orders and the distribution of medications · Assist where necessary in providing on-going training for any new and existing pharmacy staff colleagues (technicians, assistants, students, etc.) · Provide timely and positive resolution to patient?s needs and prescriber?s requests/issues · Provide education and raise public awareness of care gaps · Comply with and ensure COVID-19 workplace safety protocols that might be in place are being followed *Education and Experience:* · Licensed Pharmacist with College of Pharmacists of British Columbia · 2+ years related community practice experience preferred · Experience using KROLL software and any specialized practice certifications (immunizations, diabetes, asthma etc.) would be an asset *Schedule & Compensation:* ·Flexible schedule offered of weekdays (no evenings) and Saturdays · Negotiable wages based on experience · Employee discount and extended health benefits program _*Please provide your email address in your application.*_ _*All employment decisions at North End Pharmacy Remedy?sRx are based on company needs, job requirements and individual merit.
