Peace River School Division requires a Full -Time (1.0 f.t.e.) Temporary Educational Assistant at Menno Simmons Community School. This position will commence on November 18, 2024. The successful candidate will be supporting the high school virtual education program.<p>Menno Simons Community School serves students in grades K-11 population, comprised of English students and ESL Mennonite students. The school is situated west of Fairview near Cleardale, Alberta, approximately 200 km north west of Grande Prairie. <p>Qualifications: <p><p> Educational Assistant Certificate or equivalent<p> Experience and/or training working with students<p> High School Diploma<p><p>Requirements: <p><p> Provide an acceptable current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check <p><p>Please note, records check must be less than six (6) months old to date of your application.<p>Skills: <p><p> Ability to work with students with varying needs and abilities<p> Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively<p> Experience working in a classroom setting<p> Experience in speech language development is considered an asset<p> Demonstrates proficiency in technology<p><p> <p>This position will remain open until suitable candidate is secured.
