<p>Job Posting: Posting Detail <p><p>Posting: T24/25-206<p>Description: Foods Teacher - Grades 8-12<p><p><p>Start Date: 27-January-2025<p>End Date: 27-June-2025<p>Date of Notice: 5-November-2024<p>Closing Date: 12-November-2024, 12:00 MST<p> <p>Foods Teacher - Grades 8-12 <p><p>Fernie Secondary School <p>Fernie , BC <p>Temporary 1.0 FTE<p><p>Salary: The starting annual salary for this full-time Teaching position ranges from $63,357 to $112,345, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.<p>Benefits: We offer a competitive benefits package and pension.<p><p><p>Terms and conditions pursuant to the Collective Agreement between the Cranbrook and Fernie Teachers' Association and School District No. 5 (Southeast Kootenay).<p>-Preference will be given to applicants with BC Teacher Certification. <p>-Must have a degree/formal training and/or teaching experience in subjects and at a level specific to each posting.<p><p><p>Foods Teacher - Grades 8-12 <p><p> (POSTING NUMBER T2425-206 - Round 2)<p><p>1.0 FTE temporary contract, starting January 27, 2025 or upon completion of the posting process to June 27, 2025.<p><p>Must have a degree/formal training and or teaching experience in Home Economics at the Secondary level. Must have FOODSAFE certification. Must have a degree/formal training and or teaching experience in Entrepreneurship at the Secondary level.<p><p>This position is scheduled for Semester 2, and will include 2 linear blocks of Foods 8/9, 2 semester blocks of Foods 10-12 and 1 semester block of Entrepreneurship 10-12.
