Education: College/CEGEP. Work site environment: Commercial aviation. Work setting: Rural area. Willing to relocate. Relocation costs not covered by employer. Tasks: Inspect electrical and avionics systems. Install aircraft instruments. Ensure that the installation, maintenance, repair and overhaul of systems meet Transport Canada and company standards of performance and safety. Repair and overhaul, modify, install and test aircraft electrical systems and equipment. Test electrical, electronic and instrument components. Troubleshoot communications, navigation, and autoflight equipment. Troubleshoot, repair, install and inspect aircraft systems and components. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Avionics Mechanic Trade Certification. Electronics Certification. Aircraft Maintenance Engineer's Licence (AME) - E. Avionics Systems Endorsements. Aircraft experience: Small turbine helicopter. Medium turbine helicopter. Weather forecasting experience: Aviation. Type of industry experience: General aviation. Area of specialization: Avionics. Security and safety: Bondable. Basic security clearance. Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Public transportation is not available.
