*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive repair techniques, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work with various hand and power tools. The Auto Body Technician will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality workmanship. *Responsibilities* * Assess vehicle damage and determine necessary repairs. * Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform bodywork, including welding, sanding, and painting. * Replace or repair damaged parts such as bumpers, fenders, and doors. * Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to ensure all repairs meet safety standards. * Collaborate with other technicians and staff to ensure timely completion of repairs. * Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols. * Keep accurate records of repairs performed and parts used. *Skills* * Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools specific to auto body repair. * Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair techniques. * Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during the repair process. * Previous experience working in a dealership setting is preferred but not required. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and customers.
