Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work setting: Transportation. Wholesalers. Tasks: Organize tasks to accomplish the work. Plan and organize operational logistics of the organization. Track and complete work orders. Monitor movement of supplies and materials between departments. Prepare and submit reports. Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Provide customer service. Keep track of shipments. Knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations. Process and transmit information and instructions to co-ordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment. Organize and maintain inventory. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Work under pressure. Tight deadlines. Attention to detail. Personal suitability: Client focus. Excellent oral communication.
