*Wanted: Part-Time Food Counter Attendant* We?re looking for positive, hardworking, willing to learn, take on challenges, looking for advancement individuals who can multitask to join our team! *Job details:* * *Location: *640 42 Ave. SE, Calgary, AB * *Salary: *$15.75/ hour plus gratuities * *Vacancies: *1 Open Position * *Terms of employment: *Part-Time * *Start date: *Nov. 18, 2024 * *Hours: *0-20 hours a week, Monday to Saturday availability. *Skill Requirements:* *Education:* Some high school *Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.):* Class 5 Driver's License (as you may do some deliveries) *Experience:* Experience is an asset *Languages:* English *Travel Experience:* Local *Weight Handling:* Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) *Main duties* This group performs some or all of the following duties: * Take customers' orders * Clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs using manual and electric appliances * Use oven, dispensers and other equipment to prepare fast food items * Portion, assemble, and wrap food or place it directly on boxes for service to patrons, and package take-out food * Serve customers at counters or tables * Stock refrigerators and salad bars and keep records of the quantities of food used * May receive payment for food items purchased * Wash and peel vegetables and fruit * Wash work tables, cupboards and appliances * Remove trash and clean kitchen garbage containers * Unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, cupboards and other storage areas * Sweep and mop floors, and perform other duties to assist staff * Clear and clean tables and trays in eating establishments * Bring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving areas and set tables * Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and in serving areas * Remove dishes before and after courses * Perform other duties such as scraping and stacking dishes, carrying linen to and from laundry area and running errands. * Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans using dishwasher or by hand * Place dishes in storage area * Scour pots and pans, and may clean and polish silverware. *Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:* Fast-paced environment *Essential Skills:* Reading text, Numeracy, Writing, Communication, Working with others, Job task planning and organizing, Continuous learning *Employer:* Coco Brooks Inc. *How to Apply:* By E-mail Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $15.75 per hour Additional pay: * Tips Benefits: * Discounted or free food * On-site parking * Store discount Schedule: * Monday to Friday * On call * Weekends as needed Licence/Certification: * Class 5 Licence (preferred) Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2024-11-18- LocationCalgary, AB
