Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Dusty. Tasks: Calculate the cost of truck repairs and new parts if needed. Address customers' complaints or concerns. Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques. Mountain driving expertise. Professionalism in customer service. Load and unload goods. Pay and receive payments for goods. Perform brake adjustments. Perform emergency roadside repairs. Perform preventive maintenance. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption. Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo. Transport and handle dangerous goods. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : AZ class license. Air Brakes Endorsement. Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks). Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles). Documentation knowledge: Accident or incident reports. Driver logbook. Experience: Experience an asset.
