We are a leader in green business solutions and we are growing quickly.https://youtu.be/SBh0CEo6TBo *Hours & Availability:* (1) One Available Position: Millwright : Monday - Friday - Hours to Vary - Overtime and Weekend work as needed. *Benefits:* Full Dental/Medical benefits provided after 3 month probation period *Summary* *:* Millwright Journeyman position works across all departments to install, maintain and repair site equipment and buildings. The individual will work indoors and sometimes outdoors, in an environment with numerous heavy machinery, conveyor belts and large commercial trucks. This individual will have the opportunity to work alongside a dynamic and growing team of individuals and will have the opportunity to work in numerous areas of a modern recycling facility. *Job Duties* *:* * Perform assigned duties in a safe and efficient manner and abide by all Company policies and procedures. * The use of various hand tools, machinery and equipment will be required to manufacture metal products. * This position will work with Managers, Supervisors and Lead Hands to make improvements to a variety of equipment for recycling and landfill operations. * Required to read and understand production drawings, blueprints, work orders and other written instructions. * Conduct Technical Inspections. * Conduct repairs, modifications and retrofits. * Identify and correct any problems found in machines, equipment, or processes in order to facilitate operation *Requirements:* * Several years experience as a Millwright Journeyman * Interprovincial Red Seal, First aid, Fall Protection, Confined Space Entry Certificate is considered an asset * Able to follow safety rules at all times while on site * Ability to understand and use all applicable aspects of WMS * Ability to perform duties while sitting, standing, walking and lifting for certain times throughout the shift * Ability to interpret instructions both oral and written (use of two way radio communication required, training provided) * Ability to produce at a high level * Ability to be able to work as part of a team * Willing to work overtime and/or weekends as requested by Supervisor/ Manager * High level of personal integrity * Professional/mature demeanor under stressful situations * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Confident, consistent decisive personality * Must be able to work with little supervision; must be self-directed * Able to pass a drug, alcohol, fit test and Criminal Record Check *Work Conditions* This position works in a manufacturing environment and has exposure to dust (Particulate Respiratory equipment required), fumes, heat, and cold temperatures. The individual must be able to wear the appropriate personal protective equipment as required. Other Environmental conditions employees are introduced to are as follows: * Indoor and limited outdoor environment * Fast work pace and dynamic work * Constant hand activity (Griping, grasping, Pushing, pulling, wrist rotation) * Attain precise standards and maintain attention to detail * Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a group setting * Perform simple and repetitive tasks * Dusty environment (respiratory equipment required and training provided) * Working near heavy equipment * Electromagnetic fields (Magnets) (A static magnetic field can cause pacemakers and heart defibrillators to switch into special mode) *PPE Requirements:* \*\* Training and Equipment provided by ECCO Recycling * Hard Hat * Safety Glasses * Gloves * High Vis-Vest * Coveralls * Personal Respiratory Equipment * Steel Toe boots (not provided by company) We thank all applicants; however, only successful candidates will be contacted.
