*Job Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while ensuring that food is prepared and served in a safe and sanitary manner. You will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas, as well as assisting with food preparation and service.
*Duties*
* Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards.
* Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
* Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality.
* Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, and slicers safely.
* Assist with inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies.
* Provide excellent customer service by taking orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
* Perform basic math calculations for portioning and inventory tracking.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
*Experience*
Ideal candidates will have experience in the food industry, particularly in restaurant or kitchen settings. Familiarity with food preparation techniques, sanitation practices, and time management skills are essential. Basic math skills are required for measuring ingredients and managing inventory effectively. Previous experience with POS systems is a plus but not mandatory; we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic and a passion for food service.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.97-$20.81 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
