Health and Safety Officer Welland Hydro-Electric System Corp. (WHESC) is a progressive electric distribution utility delivering electricity in a safe reliable manner while maintaining a high quality of service to meet the needs of our 26,000+ customers within the City of Welland. Main Responsibilities: Implement the organizations Health and Safety Program including policies and standard operating procedures and monitor against trends, new industry practices, legislative changes, and business changes to ensure that the program stays current and dynamic. Assess health and safety training needs for the organization, determine methods of delivery (i.e., internal/external provider) and establish an annual training plan. Implement/organize internal and external health and safety program audits and evaluations. Participate in- LocationWelland, ON
