*Job description* Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager, as part of a multidisciplinary team, the Pharmacy Technician/Assistant will be responsible for duties as outlined below. PRIMARY RESPONSBILITIES: * Completing best possible medication history including consultation with patient and/or family * Dispensing of medications, including refill prescriptions and outpatient prescriptions * Maintaining established prescription levels, including narcotics and controlled substances * Compounding and packaging of sterile and non-sterile medications including bio-hazardous agents in acceptance of manufacturing practice and WHMIS guidelines * Conducting continuous improvement audits as designated, including expiration date and monitoring and medication area inspections * Performing computerized profiling and auditing tasks as trained * Performing miscellaneous projects, filing and clerical duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: * Good interpersonal and team skills * Basic computer skills PHYSICAL EFFORT AND WORKING CONDITIONS: * Extensive walking periods, prolonged standing * Able to lift up to 50lbs * Intense visual, listening and mental concentration * Able to manage time effectively in order to meet deadlines Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Benefits: * Store discount Schedule: * Day shift * Holidays * Monday to Friday * Night shift * Weekends Experience: * Not required Work remotely: * No COVID-19 precaution(s): * Personal protective equipment provided or required * Temperature screenings * Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Salary: $17.00-$20.00 per hour Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Salary: $17.50-$20.00 per hour Expected hours: 35 per week Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * On-site parking * Store discount Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Evening shift * Monday to Friday * Morning shift * Weekends as needed Supplemental pay types: * Bonus pay Experience: * pharmacy: 1 year (preferred) Ability to Commute: * Cobourg, ON K9A 3S4 (required) Ability to Relocate: * Cobourg, ON K9A 3S4: Relocate before starting work (required) Work Location: In person Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Pay: $18-$21.00 per hour Benefits: * On-site parking * Store discount Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Evening shift * Monday to Friday * Morning shift * Weekends as needed Ability to commute/relocate: * Cobourg, ON K9A 3S4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: * pharmacy: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Pay: From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 ? 40 per week Additional pay: * Bonus pay Benefits: * Dental care * Disability insurance * Extended health care * Life insurance * Store discount * Vision care Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Evening shift * Monday to Friday * Morning shift * Weekends as needed Experience: * pharmacy: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationCobourg, ON
