*\*\* At this time, we are only accepting applicants local to the Edmonton/Leduc and Surrounding Area\*\** Makloc is currently seeking the position of *Structural Steel Detailer *based out of Nisku, Alberta. Responsibilities include: * preparation of drawings for customer approval * preparation of fabrication drawings for shop purposes * preparation of material lists, cut lists and panel layouts for building systems. Qualifications include: * Graduate of the Engineering Design & Drafting program from an accredited Canadian Technical Institute *(REQUIRED)* * Proficient in AutoCAD software * Knowledge of TEKLA *(REQUIRED)* * Experience with Rigid Frame Detailing * As well as structural steel skids, metal building systems & stairways & handrails * Solid academic achievement, strong interpersonal skills & commitment * Works with/understands the Handbook of Steel Construction Makloc offers a generous compensation package: competitive salary, and a benefits package.
