WRT EQUIPMENT LTD. designs, manufactures and distributes construction equipment products used by contractors in road related construction. WRT Equipment manufactures aggregate equipment including portable cone, jaw and screen plants, feeders, gravel semi-trailers, and conveyors. Position OverviewThe Millwright reports to the Mechanical Foreman and works closely with the plant manager, foreman and plant staff to effectively fulfill his/her responsibilities. ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the quality of worked performed.Responsible for participating in the Health and Safety Program.Responsible for participating in training sessions.DutiesRead blueprints, requisition all hardware and components required for assemblyAssemble components according to proper procedureInspect components to specificationTest run components when requiredFollow all procedures involved in the QA program and actively participateClean shop on a daily basisWork safely, being mindful of others and their safety as wellReport to his foreman or the production manager as requiredBe willing to work in other areas of production as the need arisesBe responsible for the quality level of work that he doesComplete job tasks in a timely and efficient manner.Ensure shop is kept clean and tidy on a regular basis. RequirementsMust have some experience in the heavy industrial mechanical trade and possess some natural ability with mechanical assemblyAbility to read blueprintsAbility to work alone or in a team setting.Ability to take on multiple projects at one time.Must hold and maintain a Valid Class 5 Drivers License.WRT Equipment offers a competitive compensation and benefit program including Group Health Insurance and a Safety Allowance.- LocationSaskatoon, SK
