Available Shift: Monday - Friday (2:00 pm - 10:30 pm) Monday - Friday (10:00 pm - 6:30 am) *Job description* Lactalis Canada is a leading dairy food processing organization. Employee safety is the number priority at Lactalis Canada and our outstanding safety record year after year attests to the success of our many safety initiatives. *Job Responsibilities:* * Record and maintain accurate inventory of dairy products using SAP software & RF scanner including tracking batch numbers, expiration dates, and storage locations * Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp truck and reach safely and efficiently to move and handle products as needed * Wrap outgoing dairy shipments securely, and load the docks following specific packaging and labeling requirements * Assist in conducting regular inventory counts and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and minimize stock discrepancies * Able to work in cold environment (fridge temperature) * Perform other duties and activities that may be assigned. *Qualifications & Skills:* * 2+ years experience in a shipping department * Previous Shipper/Receiver experience ideally from a food/dairy manufacturing industry * Demonstrated good problem-solving skills * Good oral and written communication skills * Aptitude and desire to progress into a leadership role * Must have working knowledge of SAP, inventory management experience, forklift License. (walkie, forklift, clamp truck) * Able to work in both shipping department (cold zone) and receiving department for unloading of trailers. *Lactalis is an equal-opportunity employer and is committed to the principles of diversity and employment equity.
