The Company?s properties and projects span British Columbia, Alberta, and the Western United States. We are seeking a *Construction Safety Officer/ light duty work *with valid Occupational First Aid (OFA), *level* *2/3 with Transportation Endorsement* for a project in Vancouver (Italia). *Responsibilities include:* * Daily First Aid/Site Safety Inspections * Tend to injuries and file the required paperwork * General labour duties (including but not limited to carpentry, site organization, and clean-up) *Skills and Experience Requirements:* * Current Level 2 First Aid accreditation (or higher), TE * 5 years? experience in the construction industry * Must have excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills * Experience with power tools and working around heavy equipment * Must be a self-starter * The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements for tower high-rise work * Computer skills * Bobcat/zoom boom operation experience would be an asset but not required * Must live in BC · Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada to be considered.
