If you are looking for a dynamic organization, this is the opportunity for you.Role Responsibilities:Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements and schedules, including posting journal entries and reconciliationsMonthly review, reconciliation and processing of corporate credit cardsAssist with the preparation and execution of internal and external auditsAccounts payable processing and analysisParticipation in process improvement initiativesAd hoc financial reporting and documentationQualificationsPost-secondary education in the accounting field (university degree or community college diploma with a concentration in accounting, or equivalent)Ability to work well under pressure of time constraintsCo-op or work term experience in the accounting field would be an asset Strong organizational skillsAnalytical mind and a critical thinkerMeticulous attention to detail and accuracyProficient with Excel and other Microsoft Office programsAdaptable and flexible team playerThe Junior Accountant position is eligible to participate in our CPA program which is pre-approved by CPA Atlantic.
